Position: Cost Estimator-Electrical
Location: Nanjing

Major Responsibilities:
? Develop piece cost and tooling estimate for assigned commodities --- alternator, starter, motor/its control module, battery and etc;
? Construct and analyze manufacturing costs by reviewing sketches, blueprints, parts and functional information;
? Develop part cost estimate and gap analyses for forward and current model programs;
? Work with Global Cost Estimate team to identify competitive production process, find inefficiency in supplier's production site and help supplier to do improvement work by optimization of production.
? Support purchasing to negotiate with supplier to get business benefit
? Identify Design Cost Opportunity with PD

Qualification Requirements:
? Bachelor or advanced degrees in Engineering;
? Good command of English- write and speak clearly, concisely and persuasively;
? 5+ years Experience in quality, manufacturing and/or product development; prefer in Automotive Industry
? Possess an expertise of Electrical commodity, and good understanding one or more processes of forging, die-casting, machining, stamping, Plastic Injection molding, SMT and assembly are required
? Plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period;
? Demonstrate a solid grasp of business concepts, realistic judgment, and quantitative and critical thinking skills;
? Maintain data integrity and accuracy and use data to identify and solve problems;
? Model leadership behavior (integrity, drive, courage and initiative) in personal and professional experiences;
? Work effectively with others in cross-functional team;
? Extensive travel domestic and international is required.
