Position Title
Manufacturing Engineering Manager
A Primary Objective of Position (General Statement):
Under general direction, responsible for planning and leading the implementation of the company's engineering
activities in selected functional disciplines as assigned.
Develp and continuously to improve manufacturing processes, equipment,tooling, and process control to produce
high quality products in a Lean Manufacturing operation. Supervise and manage engineering function effectively
and provide training to technicians and engineers.
B Key Job Responsibilites:
1. Provide leadership for the development, coordination, communication, and leverage of sustainable processes,

policies and procedures in compliance with the Micro Motion System and global operations strategy.
Drive improvement with systems thinking, CIP and lean methodologies in all processes using key performance
measures.

- Lead FMEA activities and drive for Process Capability using statistical process control and other engineering
tools
Improve processes, equipment, tooling, and control system, so that:
- products produced meet design specifications and are closely controlled.

- processes comply with safety and environmental requirements
- pocesses are innovative and provide competitive advantage in terms of quality, reliability, and cost.
Evaluate current manufacturing capabilities, product offerings and lead-times; Recommend programs to reduce lead-time
4 and improve service to customers. Develop detailed plans spanning the next 12 to 24
months.
Develop New Product and Transfer plans that support Flow's operational goals for quality, safety

and delivery to customers.
6 Drive continuous knowledge transfer, and engineering staff training
7 Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8 Take other job assignments allocated by leaders.

Qualifications:
Experience:
7 years of related experience including at least three years of engineering supervisory experience, preferably in a

manufacturing environment, with a strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.
Education/Training:
B.S. degree in a related area or equivalent experience. Technical training/management training a plus.
Training in Lean, 6 Sigma, management skills
3 Proficient written and oral communications skills in both English and Chinese.
