Regional HR Manager-HR Director, China-a Multinational USA Co.



Reports To: Senior Global HR Director

Location: Shanghai, China 工作地点在上海 一年后转去南京



Overview:

Provide the environment, resources, direction, budgets and influence for the Regional Human Resources Function to implement leading edge Human Resources systems and practices in China.



Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure excellence in HR processes and procedures including staffing, merit planning, training and development, performance management, and performance incentive processes.

2. Manage labor relations with all business units, factories and offices.

3. Drive employee engagement - remaining union free and partnering with union where appropriate.

4. Coach managers to create an environment where employees can be their best and reach their potential.

5. Influence Operations and Senior Management to align people and business objectives, initiatives and innovations.

6. Continuously look at process improvement within the function.

7. Coach and mentor direct reports.

8. Assist each of the functions/businesses in setting strategy to be successful.

9. Participate in the due diligence of acquisitions and joint ventures.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:

1. A stint outside of HR to gain business understanding bigger picture

2. Chief spokesperson in negotiations

3. Experience in union and nonunion facilities

4. Experience supervising and leading others managing teams

5. Field/Plant HR experience

6. Plant startups and closings experience is preferred

7. International assignment or exposure is preferred



Education/Certifications:

1. Bachelors degree in HR related major and MBA preferred
