One famous US company located in Jiangnin Development Zone is looking qualified candidate as its Sourcing Senior Manager.

Job scopes:

1 Functions as a key member of the senior management team. Support the Company's vision and
strategy by leading the process of collaborating with the supply base to achieve the cost containment,
cost reduction, inventory reduction and new product releases.
2 Assess the overall divisional sourcing strategy and implement a comprehensive action plan that will
optimize the identifying and qualifying of new suppliers, improving supplier performance .
3 Promote a culture of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction throughout supply base and the
Company.
4 Manage complexity in the supply base by collaborating with other divisions in Preferred
Supplier List, MIN, E-Bidding, NMI, other Corporate driven sourcing and supplier management activities.
5 Interface closely with design engineering to ensure new product launched are with parts souced locally
within cost, schedule and quality targets.
6 Provide timely and accurate submission of all data and financial exhibits. Maintain accurate purchasing
data records and data bases. This includes both divisional and needs.
7 Insure high levels of communication and collaboration with appropriate company personnel globally
when developing Strategic Sourcing plans and supplier actions. Demonstrate systems thinking.
8 Recruit, train, develop, motivate and monitor the performance of employees for whom he/she is
responsible.
9 To implement ISO 9000/14000/18000 seriously and improve Quality / Environment / Occupational Health
continuously.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management with at least five years in a leadership
position.
- At least 5 years' experience in foreign-invested manufacturing enterprises.
- University degree in Engineering. Metallurgy, Mechanical engineering major.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Global, systems-thinker
- Good project management skills
- Business acumen
- Managerial Courage
- Decision Quality
- Foreign manufacturing environment with welding, machining, electronic assembly process.
- Work with foreign commodity teams in localization projects with successful major buy.
- Casting experience will be a plus.
