A famous international company is looking for a Product Manager to support global project. It is a 500 fortune comany, be a branding company in their industry.

Key Responsibilities:

actively manage the yearly product offering for one part of the company portfolio together with the other product managers

be the one point of contact in the team for all requirements linked to the whole product offering
translate market trends and customer needs into offering development requirements. in this role you are the link between our customers, front lines / areas and our supply line, sourcing, R&D, PCM, marketing and other support functions

actively develop the business strategy for your area of responsibility (i.e. product, as well as segment).
develop concrete action plans based on company’s must win battles
review the monthly business progress for your area of responsibility (i.e. see above) and propose resulting actions

Key Requirements:

customer focus attitude is a must

team player able to cooperate across borders (geographical as well as organizational borders!) and to add flavor to a multi-cultural team

able to work independently within a “virtual organization” and willing to travel extensively
positive can-do attitude and strong set of personal values

hands-on approach with a drive to getting things done

very good communication skills and able to find a balance between diplomacy and persistency. fluency in English and Chinese is a must

able to dig into the details of a problem, as well as being able to see again the big picture.
motivated by an expert role

a university engineering background or a business background coupled with technical affinity is the best combination for this role

a proven track record in direct sales for escalators is a definite plus
