Executes testing per established protocol to ensure quality standards are met per Corporate and Customer requirements.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Executes physical test methods as per prescribed company testing protocols.

2.Establishes and executes periodic re-test programs for core raw materials that ensure quality standards are maintained in manufacturing and reports finding accordingly.

3.Provides preliminary approvals of new materials aesthetic and performance results and communicates same to development team.

4.Supports the identification of new raw materials resources for use in R.G. Barry assortments.

5.Travels up to 20% of the time.

6.Provides recommendations to testing protocols to ensure raw materials used in products are of acceptable quality.

7.Provides recommendations for RM corrections that achieve standards.

8.Maintains ongoing tracking reports, testing reports and general lab samplings for reference as historical data.

9.Establishes and maintains appropriate records of materials approval for respective locations that allow for improved transfer to production.



SKILLS

1.Requires an undergraduate level degree in an applicable field of study as well as a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in raw material Development and lab operations.

2.Attention to detail is a must.

3.Excellent time management and organization skills are needed.

4.Requires bi-lingual Chinese/English communication skills. Must also be able to read and write in English.
