Suspension Engineer - Stabilizer Bar & Coil Spring 底盘悬架工程师 – 稳定杆及圆簧. The purpose of this position is to provide expertise and guidance on the development and manufacture of Ford Chassis stabilizer bar and coil spring components. Responsibility will include localization of global component designs in the Asia Pacific region.

Important aspects of the position:

• Strong understanding of industry best practices used in the design of coil springs and/or sta-bars
• Working knowledge of industry best practices used in the manufacture of coil springs and/or sta-bars
• Working functional knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Experience using and applying advanced SPC methods in component manufacturing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse global team environment, and provide effective technical communication with team members in both Chinese and English language.
• Data driven approach to analytical problem solving, and process robustness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Asia Pacific supply base in implementing global coil spring and stabar system designs on local China, Thailand and Taiwan vehicles.
• Interface with global Vehicle Engineering and Product Development teams to insure all global and local requirements are met with robustness
• Lead design of components, DVP&R, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control plan and APQP with local supply base
• Manage supplier and vehicle program timing to support all stages of pre-production builds through production launch
• Use lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Interface with launch team, manufacturing team and global during launch of new vehicle.

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
• 3 years minimum
• Prior experience with coil spring and/or stabilizer bar design & manufacturing
• Experience with an OE supplier to a global automotive manufacturer preferred.
