Suspension Engineer - Fastener 底盘悬架工程师 – 紧固件. The purpose of this position is to lead the testing, localization and engineering signoff of all suspension joints in the Asia Pacific region

Important aspects of the position:

Working functional knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse global team environment, and provide effective technical communication with team members in both Chinese and English language.

Data driven approach to analytical problem solving, and process robustness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead both the design validation (DV) and production validation (PV) testing for all suspension fasteners in the Asia Pacific region
• Interface with global Product Development engineers to insure all requirements are met
• Manage supplier and vehicle program timing to support all stages of pre-production builds through production launch
• Use lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Interface with launch team, manufacturing team and global during launch of new vehicle.
• Optional: Use CATIA skills to review suspension package status versus requirements. Provide input to design engineers to resolve design issues.

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
• 3 years minimum
• Experience with fastener sizing and testing optional
• Experience with an OE supplier to a global automotive manufacturer preferred.
