Position Purpose：

Development of near and long term operating plans for PTO plants
Responsibilities：

• Create the weekly and monthly production plans for all assigned PTO plants
• Approve final plans - work with plants for schedule concurrence, including use of Get Ready data
• Responsible for DPR input
• Issue CMMS releases to PTO suppliers and assist plants/suppliers with release questions
• Reconcile CMMS to plan monthly
• Manage system wide inventory levels
• Work with plants to identify stockpile needs
• Work with MP&L Finance to understand inventory targets and ensure they are reflecting in production planning process and manage plans to approved levels
• Communicate Powertrain commodity availability within MP&L and MBO
• Develop and communicate PTO availabilities to VO customers as required
• Update department management on near term changes in availability and act as PTO lead within MP&L for communicating PTO constraints between PTO
• Metrics – ensure timely updates to metrics
• Interface with PTO Capacity Planning to ensure that current supplier capacity is reflected in the production plan.
• Communicate increases in long term demand to PTO Capacity Planning that may require a change to the PTO supply base capacity.

Qualification：

• Background in logistics, finance, IT or manufacturing.
• Team Skills: Requires team building, conflict resolution with ability to achieve compromise and/or consensus, and the ability to motivate and keep the team moving. In addition, requires superb one-on-one interpersonal skills.
• Project Management Skills: Requires the ability to plan, develop, track and maintain a project plan considering multiple sources of information.
• Communication Skills: Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical Skills: Requires an understanding of the Enterprise Scheduling and Capacity Planning processes and systems.
• An understanding of the business practices and systems impacting volumes (CMMS3) is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple, ongoing issues and Microsoft Excel and Access in a dynamic environment is required.
• Must be a self started that is able to manage workload on their own and be comfortable making decisions. Background in logistics, finance, IT or manufacturing.
