Major Responsibilities:

This position will support C Car Regional PVT Manager/Supervisor, Plant PVT Manager/ VRT team to execute action plans/ drive issue resolution to achieve Vehicle Line Quality Targets. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute work plans to deliver C Vehicle Line quality target achievement for the APA Region and specific plants (Quality scorecard delivery)
• Lead regional issue sharing & BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) alignment meetings between LVEA (Lead Vehicle Engineering Activity) & affected APA plants
• Leverage resources of larger plants – coordination of resources to ensure efficient utilization
• Ensure Quality targets are cascaded and understood by all teams
• Escalate APA issues to LEA/Global lead plant as required to achieve satisfactory issue resolutions
• Lead China import vehicle PVT field issue containment & document lessons learned
• Support PDQR(Product Development Quality Review) for the vehicle Line and other regional/ global quality meetings as required
• Support monthly Vehicle Line VQRs (Vehicle Quality Review) on site and weekly VLBT (Vehicle Line Business Team) reviews
• Support Change Management (CMM) and facilitate coordinated changes for APA region

Experience and Background Skills Desired:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-3 years working experience. Previous direct responsibility and proven experience in: Engineering, Launch and/or Program Management – good problems solving skills
• Trained for utilizing problem solving tools - G8D, 6 Sigma, 6 Panel and CCC based 6 Panel
• A solid understanding/experienced in applying GQIP, BSAQ, ECB, WERS, AWS and VFG/VRT processes
• Ability to understand customer issues based on internal & external quality indicators
• Strong communication and coordination skills - High energy, self-starter, with ability and desire to take responsibility and deliver results
• Ability to work within a very diverse (culturally and functionally) environment. Good contacts within Global engineering team
