Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to lead and implement Ford / GME standard quality tools and processes across all PTO plants in APA, for New programs and support QOS and quality strategy robustness actions for current model production in support of APA Launch and Quality targets.
Coordinate and manage quality activities to deliver program objectives for quality and timing, and develop plant / JV structure to support program requirements, ensuring that processes conform to Ford BOP / QOS. Liaise with GPTME and NMP during process development. Working with local teams during PFMEA and DCP development, implementation of Zero faults Forward drive ramp up and Rate of Climb to program objectives of Safety, Quality and Productivity metrics.

Key Roles and Responsibilities：

• Lead PTO ME Core Quality Team


• Implement QOS strategy for parallel path machining


• Attend Peer Reviews and drive documentation updates


• Lead QOS / ISO Compliance Audits / Performance


• Provide process confirmation for the application of the PTO ME QOS for New Programs


• Process confirmation New Program DCP Processes


• Process confirmation of process control strategies (including pass through
  characteristics)


• Monitor and report Stop Ship / Pull / Repair metrics for launches


• Process confirmation for contamination strategy


• Drive use of deviation process or MTC process for New Program deliveries


• Interface with PCT and drive resolution of systemic issues


• Lead coordination and reporting of 6-Sigma activities for PTO ME


• Lead development of 6-Sigma project list addressing common cause issues


• Establish and refine new and existing processes within Manufacturing Engineering


• Assist with rollout of new processes globally


• Drive improvement to the High Hurts per the Glide path.


• Support STA efforts for localization within region: Quality and process assessment

Qualifications：

• Experience required in all stages of PTO ME Programs execution from concept to rate of climb.


• Experience required interacting with PTO Production Engineering Teams


• Strong manufacturing background with heavy emphasis on machining and assembly Engineering


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage personnel located at multiple remote sites


• Good influential, organizational and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, and provide effective technical communication with team members from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
