Responsibilities：

• Responsible for delivering vehicle interior environmental quality (VIEQ) materials testing service to ensure all Ford Asia Pacific and Africa (APA) programs meet customer expectation and voluntary country regulation.
• Manage VIEQ program attribute requirement testing progress at APA Materials Lab and certified third party labs for LEA programs within test budget and program timing
• Deliver Vehicle Prototype (VP) vehicle level testing execution in third party lab or Ford lab, analyze the test results.
• Work with global core engineer, quality, PVT, plants engineers, VFG leader for odor improvement for the current model programs.
• Work with global VIEQ PAT team for odor, fogging, VOC, substance of concern, aldehyde emission, and allergy requirement update and new test method development
• Conduct tests per Ford Materials Engineering Specifications and complete lab reports per customer requests
• Ensure high quality test results are delivered with good traceability and repeatability
• Lead VIAQ testing equipments procurement
• Manage and maintain VIEQ test equipment through scheduled calibration and maintenance plan with support from vendors
• Develop and maintain external VIEQ materials test labs through correlation and training
• Support lab supervisor on EHS and 5S to ensure safe working environment

Qualifications：

• Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Polymers Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in laboratory with GC-MS and HPLC for VOC testing. Engineer with hands on experience with WSS-M99P2222-testing, Tedlar bag method, small chamber method or micro-chamber method is a must.
• Good English skills in terms of reading and writing. Candidates with fluent spoken English skills are preferred.
• Candidates with technical understanding of international material testing standards (e.g. ISO 16000, etc.) are preferred
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and lead the implementation of improvements.

• Willingness to work overtime as required to support urgent customer requests
