职位描述

Responsibilities:

  • SPOC for Current Model Quality Issues in the responsible Vehicle Functional Group(s) at All TIS
  • LTIS – Responsible for the accuracy and performance to target of the regional VFG BSAQ glidepaths, achieved through liaison and direction to the PVT((Plant Vehicle Team) VFG Engineers.
  • Support for significant issue resolution through guidance through the Ford Problem Solving Methodologies (including accurate problem definition and technical support to PVT/STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) and Manufacturing issues).
  • Lead the Team for cross plant/vehicle line issue resolution.
  • QSF – Project Management of QSF’s in area of responsibility, gather the team, maintain meeting schedule, Plant/FCSD(Ford Customer Service Division) liaison for fix implementation.
  • Review daily claims and verbatims and maintain paynter for all VFG EVB’s and all high leverage VL/Commodity Claims (All TIS)
  • Weekly review with Functional Design Supervisors of warranty and verbatim pareto’s.
  • Warranty Spend – Identification of warranty spend drivers in the QB/WCC mapped area of responsibility, definition of the issue (including initial failed part collection), presentation of the issue to the Functional Quarterback and Functional Manager in TDR for agreement to proceed and resource allocation.
  • Escalation of regional and Vehicle line issues to Functional Review, via the use of the agreed reporting formats (CCC 6 Panel) and supporting technical data.
  • Chair weekly VFG meetings with top 5 plants/Vehicle families (dependent on VFG) to review VFG plant glidepaths (down to lowest applicable level for VFG), ECB and EVB Summaries, Status of Containments, Cross Plant issues and containments and Help Needed for escalation to FQR.
  • Chair biweekly meetings with lower impact Plants/VL as per above.

Qualifications:

  • Worked in Powertrain Automotive product development for at least two years.
  • Able to interface with many teams from many different area's of the company, other nationalities/countries, time-zones.
  • Experience in leading the delivery of development projects, timing plant development and review.
  • Must have a Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Degree
  • Good technical knowledge of Engine and Transmission and general and Vehicle system knowledge
  • 6 Sigma/8D problem solving methodology application knowledge.
