职位描述

Position Description:

This position is responsible for handling Customer Support requests in WCDMA Radio products. Product Development Unit WCDMA & Multi Standard RAN is responsible for development, release and maintenance of WCDMA Networks. Ericsson Nanjing is a major partner within this unit working in all areas of development especially RBS/RNC development and Continuous Integration development. Within the PDU, PLM is responsible for test and delivery of maintenance packages for the WCDMA Radio Access Network including RNC and RBS. The PLM works towards ensuring customer satisfaction with Ericsson's WRAN through our compliance with agreed turnaround time for both Trouble Reports and Customer Service Requests. We handle escalation from Ericsson 2nd line support, GSC, and 1st line support, MUs and Customers. When necessary we place engineers on customer's sites.


Job Responsibilities:

Your responsibility as customer support engineer includes:

· Perform Trouble shooting and present results from Route Cause Analysis of customer technical issues

· HOT Customer Service Request/Trouble Report Handling

· Participation in Global Emergency Handling

· Participation in on-site support during FOA, FFI or Task force activities

Requirements:

As a WCDMA Customer Support Engineer we require:

· Deep technical knowledge of WCDMA RAN product portfolio

· Background of WCDMA Integration and Verification is preferred

· Background of on-site customer technical support experience is preferred

· Proven ability to work under pressure

· Proven ability to professionally represent Ericsson in customer environment

· Proven ability to work and to make decisions independently

· Proven ability to describe technical issues in clear and understandable manner

· Willingness to travel internationally

· Fluency in English

· Bachelor or Master of Technology or Science
