JOB TITLE

Configuration Management Officer reports to the Section Manager of GSM, ENC/RD/GA.

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

Manage and develop activities that apply to technical and administrative direction over the life cycle of a product, its configuration items, and related product configuration information.

To find improvement area based on current business situation and figure out solution or process.

RESPONSIBILITIES and MAIN TASK

· Planning

o Define CM plan to decide Configuration Management procedures, process, tools used within the R&D project.

o Define CM document plan for R&D GSM SW CM.

· Configuration Identity

o Create Product and Document identity.

o Define and Maintain Product Structure.

o Register and maintain information in Ericsson Database.

· Configuration Control

o Responsible for process of release handling within project

o Responsible for product and document change control

o Drive the release and secure the release process and quality within R&D project

o Run product release meeting for SW package.

o Responsible for release checklist.

o Support teams with CM competence for the handling of tools and scripts.

· Process Development

o Responsible for CM related knowledge or tools training within R&D

o Responsible for TR/CR KPI report within R&D

o Responsible for defining and maintaining Checklist within R&D

AUTHORITY

Have the access to all information necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

· University degree or above.

· Minimum 2 years working experience in configuration management area.

· Highly result driven and focused on continues improvements

· Have strong driving skills, result-oriented

· Fluent English is a requirement, both in speaking and writing.

· Good communication skill

· Good team work and co-operation.

· Excellent computer skills, familiar with configuration management tools, Clearcase, PRIM, GASK is preferred
