Lead Software Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

· Design and scope custom client solutions in conjunction with Solution Management team

· Define, refine and enforce repeatable development/QA procedures and educate external stakeholders such as Client Services

· Hands-on development of client deliverables as workload dictates

· Participate in testing of new product functionality, upgrades and patches

· Lead the development of innovative customer loyalty applications for multiple clients using Java, and/or .NET

· Effectively communicate application designs and plans with multi-discipline teams

· Provide program and system documentation to ensure maintainability of applications

· Manage all project deliverables and ensure individual quality of work

Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering

· 7+ years of Software Development

· 5+ years of solid Java development

· 5+ years RDBS experience (mySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)

· Experience with developing and implementing Web Services (SOAP, RESTful)

· Experience with .NET

· Experience with Agile, Iterative, SCRUM or other SDLCs

· Proficiency and/or experience with most of the following technologies:

- Languages: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, JDBC, ODBC, PL/SQL, Perl, JAVA, Struts, JSP, Servlets, Axis, Active Server Pages, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, VBScript, XML, SOAP, WSDL

· Experience with architecting and implementing application platforms:

- JBoss, IIS

- LAMP, WAMP

· Experience with Control Versioning Softare

- SVN, git

· Experience with multiple Operating Systems

- Linux, Red Hat Linux, UNIX, Windows Server, Windows XP/7

· Experience with UML tools

· Experience or Knowledge of CMS platforms

· Experience or Knowledge of Google Analytics, GTM, Omniture or other web event capturing applications

· Strong Unix shell scripting and command line skills

· Experience or Knowledge of Responsive Design or UI/UX development for classic and mobile browsers

· Experience with Code Review Best Practices

· Strong knowledge and implementation of Design Patterns
