Assistant Controller - Asia


Responsibilities-
？ Supervising all the accounting functions and financial reporting for Asia
？ Analyzing financial and operational information
？ Work with management on special projects
？ Reporting to the Regional Controller - Asia,the candidate will interface with the USA
based home office, outside auditors and our 5 Asia sales, sourcing & engineering
offices

Requirements-
？ Degree holder with CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
？ Previous exposure to Cost Accounting / Inventory Management preferred
？ Manufacturing company experience is desirable
？ Previous experience with western owned company beneficial
？ 6-8 years of experience in accounting and /or auditing required
？ Self-motivated, detail-minded, mature and independent, good analytical skills,
ability to work in a multi- cultural environment
？ Periodic travel (25% to 35%) to mainland and overseas offices to provide hands on
training to local finance staff required
？ Language skills - English & Mandarin proficiency
？ Computer skills – Hands-on experience in ERP systems, strong in PC skills
i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook

The Simpson Family has been in the San Francisco Bay Area building community since 1914, but it wasn't until the mid-1950s that they launched the business that would become a world leader in their industry. And it all really began with a visit from a neighbor.

"The doorbell rang one Sunday night in 1956," recalled Barclay Simpson, who took over a window screen business from his father in 1947.
