POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

To manage the Samsung account and Xi’an Franchise accounts in Xi’an CBZ area, maintain the growth of Xi’an electronics tonnage business and support merchant gas business in Xi’an.

Nature and Scope

The job holder will be assumed commercial manager of Xi’an franchise. The main function will be in two areas.

1. Business Representative

? Serve as account manager in Xi’an CBZ area. In this capacity, the individual will have the commercial lead to interface with Samsung and other franchise customers in Xi’an as a primary role.

? Develop new opportunities closely working with major accounts and keeping relations with potential customers


? Responsible for growth and new customer acquisition in Xi’an CBZ area. This incumbent will be responsible for actively making sales calls and secure sales contracts in a fast, effective and disciplined manner.

? Develop the commercial strategy for new opportunities by coordinating the various product line offerings into a cohesive customer proposal and by utilizing the right entity and tax policy that meets customer expectations most and maximizes the overall profitability of our offerings.

2 Asset Management of Projects and Existing Sites


? Lead the role of asset management for existing and new project through communicating with GO, GEM and other relative organizations.

? Sustain close relationship with the key customers and insure Air Products is meeting their tonnage needs and to better understand how Air Products can continue to add value to their respective facilities/areas.

? Maintaining profits of Electronics tonnage account by monitoring and managing accounts receivables

? Accountability for improving the tonnage franchise consistent with the operating plan.


Apart from the electronics tonnage and bulk gases business, this incumbent will also support PMDS and Merchant Gas team to win PMDS and merchant business by working with the team and sharing the information about the accounts.

1. Maintain strong business partnership with accounts especially Samsung

2. Improve profitability at existing accounts and implement price increase programs

3. Manage the existing Electronic tonnage assets related to the existing accounts to meet targeted returns

4. Develop marketing and business development activities of the pipeline business to improve the growth of Electronics tonnage business in Korea

5. Manage receivables performance to keep DSO in control together with CSO.

6. Communicate and share information with PMDS, Merchant and Korea team to help win more business success for the company.

7. Execute forecasting, budgeting, closing of the major accounts


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. 5+ year experience in Commercial/sales experiences of gas industry via previous onsite role, field sales, Product Management, or other relevant experience

2. Technical experience or knowledge of onsite plant business offerings

3. Financial background of capital related projects (ie IRR, NPV, OROI) with the ability to quickly screen through multiple potential project offerings and opportunities.

4. Good understanding of the Semiconductor/Electronics industry and Air Products offerings to the industry.

5. Understanding business environment in Xi’an, especially working style with Korea customers

6. Excellence in inter-personal communication

7. Language skills : Good communication skills of English, Chinese and Korean language.
