A Manager, Corporate Communications - Greater China & Mongolia with Hilton Worldwide works across the entire communications function, leading projects, and coordinating external and internal activity.

What will I be doing?
As Manager, Corporate Communications is to build a positive reputation and image of Hilton Worldwide to all stakeholders in Greater China & Mongolia and in key global source markets and target media. This will be achieved through careful messaging and internal and external communication management and a strong network of contacts across the region. The role will support the company’s strategic business goals to achieve revenue targets.
· Provide strategic PR counsel and services to Hilton Worldwide hotels in the region with the aim of supporting their business efforts
· To measurably increase profile, share of voice and reputation value for the Hilton Worldwide among targeted media, and development PR strategy and profiling of senior management from Hilton Worldwide Strategic and creative input to support new openings across brands and key commercial priority hotels.
Proactive planning:
· Produce a proactive, integrated communication strategy and regional calendar.
· Indentify key stakeholder groups for targeted campaigns to support business objectives.
· Devise top and secondary tier media lists.
· Agree key messages
· Evaluate current media profile and set measurable targets to improve and positive share of voice and exposure for Hilton Hotels. Identify strategic PR opportunities
Regional Press office:
· Ensure compliance and consistency of communication materials across the region.
· Identify regional initiatives to raise Hilton Family’s profile
· Escalate local stories
· Initiate/manage media familiarization trips
· Regional media database and news tracking systems and media relations
Hotel PR support:
· Support hotel PR plans on a selective basis
· Elevate local stories
· Ensure consistent media material and create PR network
Internal Communication:
· Coordinate China’s contribution to Hilton Now and APAC Newsletter.
· Manage internal communication and cascade key communication information to hotels and coordinate Quarterly Team Member Conference in the region
New openings:
Devise PR Cmpaigns for new hotel openings in the region.
What are we looking for?
A Manager, Corporate Communications serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instil confidence in order to motivate and influence others
Discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfil responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals
Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
Ability to collaborate with others and act in an objective manner in order to effectively solve problems and stay on track towards accomplishing organizational goals
Proficient writing and computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new programs and train staff
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
Knowledge of business mathematics, including ability to calculate percentage changes and averages/weighted averages; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including ability to understand/manipulate basic spreadsheets
Understanding of principles and practical application of communications tactics and strategies
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Advance degree in communications field
Communications and management experience
Basic understanding of European cultures and languages
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
