About the Organisation:

Location:
Changsha, Hunan

Key Responsibilities:
? work with the production manager to build up the production team, including hiring, training & developing, performance assessment to ensure the production team efficiency and meet the production targets
? monitor the production plan execution to ensure timely quality product delivery according to customer requirements
? to lead the team to optimize the working process and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
? to ensure the team to follow all policies and disciplines and make sure the working environment safe and comfortable
? work with engineering & maintenance manager to build up the engineer & maintenance team, set up team performance target and tracking system
? ensure PM program and plan in place and well tracking the execution
? ensure continuous improvement to plant technology
? ensure equipment selection and procurement in a timely manner to meet business requirement
? ensure equipment installation and maintenance for plant normal operation
? ensure the operation in compliance with policies
? prepare for the internal audits, making sure all activities are all in compliance with policies
? prepare for external audits by the third parties, i.e. quality, environment, safety audits
? prepare for customers audits to ensure the customers understand and find confidence in our operation activities
? make sure all plant operations are in aligned with EHS regulations
? develop, implement and monitor and continuous improvement of plant EHS procedures, programs and practices
? lead the safety program and ensure the safety of person and property in the plant
? guide the related personnel to effectively manage the documentation of the plant, incl. that for equipment, facility, etc.
? be responsible for any temporary tasks assigned by general manager

Key Requirements:
? university degree in chemistry or other related fields
? excellent communication skills and leadership in both English and Chinese
? organizational/motivational leadership skills coupled with strong technical and analytical ability
? sound judgment with effective operational focus
? problem solving abilities for short and long term resolution
? must be able to relate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization. effective communication skills
? demonstrate creativity/innovation/initiative and strategic effectiveness
? 10 to 15 years progressive managerial experience in a GMP/FDA production environment
? demonstrated ability to successfully manage large manufacturing environments
? proven track record for making improvements and exceeding budget or forecast numbers
? a complete understanding of each production process and the formulas
? a complete understanding of machine mechanics and machine operations
? provide strong leadership and provide direction to the management team
? ability to analyze production issues and provide sound solution
