职位描述
Our product is a market-leading provider of software solutions to the resort and recreation market. Our enterprise application suite, RTP/ONE, is an n-tier application built using the .NET Framework. It is a highly scalable solution leveraging SQL Server technology for data access, reporting (Microsoft Reporting Services) and analytics (Microsoft Analysis Services).
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Data modeling, design and optimization for new and existing functionality. Extensive stored procedure development required.
2. Architecting and deploying replication solutions for offline/limited connectivity environments
3. Following and evolving database coding standards
4. Ensure adequate database performance through tuning and optimization within the context of the core transaction engine and enterprise data model
5. Work to define, develop and deploy business intelligence products within RTP’s suite of enterprise class applications
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1. Database Developer with relevant experience in enterprise-class database development. Experience in all aspects of database design, stored procedure development, SSIS development, reporting services development and business intelligence development.
2. Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tools and technologies
3. 6+ years of back end application development using SQL, Stored Procedures and XML.
4. 6+ years of deep technical experience in database environments specializing in SQL Server
5. 4+ years experience in Microsoft Reporting Services and Analysis Services.
6. Experience producing technical design documentation.
7. Have college degree or equivalent experience.
8. Previous development experience in a software company.
The following industry and product knowledge would be plus:
1. Resort (in particular Ski or Golf), Parks & Attractions
2. Point of Sale
3. Inventory Management
4. Retail
5. Food & Beverage
