PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Management
• Support Marketing and Product Management business plan development and submission
• Management / forecasting / reporting of team budget
• Actively maintain and develop functional links within Global Product Management, and with other product management teams across the JC organisation
• Research and Analysis
• research and analyse market requirements, opportunities, key competitor and customer trends
• define the long term strategy of the product and create product roadmap
• work with research centre and engineering regarding product innovation and enhancements
• develop pricing strategies and product policies
• determine product packaging solutions
• Product Marketing
• develop product launch or marketing plan and event campaigns to generate product awareness and demand
• support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise, inclusive of conducting product presentations, developing sales tools and sales training material, providing latest research and marketing information
• implement marketing plan in conjunction with all departments
• drive ongoing improvement in sales and profitability
• Product Transfer and Localization
• Draft product transfer/localization feasibility analysis report
• Drive the implementation of approved product transfer/localization projects

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY:

• Education:
• typically an accredited B Eng degree; advanced degree regarded;
• Experience:
• typically at least 3 years’ relevant experience including in marketing management or related;
• knowledge of marketing principles and practices
• previous sales and business development experiences regarded.
