Report to: Operations Director
Location: Suzhou

Key Responsibilities:
? securing high quality and on schedule production in all areas of production
? increasing productivity
? support sops
? independent launch of corrective action for production problems
? presenting rationalization possibilities and process flow improvements
? implementation of new procedures and measures to improve processes
? safeguarding and improvement of production by taking into account occupational health and safety, quantities, quality, costs and deadlines
? planning and organizing the optimal deployment of personnel
? managing, motivating and advancement of employees
? deep knowledge in pressing and welding processes
? strategic planning and setting up production in co-operation with the management
? support the management in planning of investments
? be familiar with environment factors of his/her own position

Key Requirements:
? degree in mechanical engineering
? sound knowledge and experience in welding technology especially state-of-the-art welding methods/procedures as well as punching and forming technology
? at least ten years professional experience, thereof five years in a leading position in the production division in an European, American or Chinese industrial company in the automotive, mechanical engineering or steel sectors
? firm knowledge in the application of modern communications technology (i.e. ms office)
? fluent negotiating skills in business English
