1/ Description of the mission

The main actions to succeed in this challenge will be:

?Insure that all the R&D needs in term of new raw materials will be assumed
?Propose new alternative solutions to Purchasing and R&D
?Knowledge of Global RM context within RC : Health nutrition key points per raw material family, Food Safety, global availability context, Price market situation
?Acquire the knowledge of global raw material development process
?Share the knowledge of existing Worldwide Group suppliers network
?Have a clear vision of main industrial raw materials process
?Build a new suppliers network in Asia-Pac, have a regular presence in Petfood/Feed/Food exhibition
?Prospect new type of raw materials processes (Fermentation, Bio-Industry, etc…)
?Develop new area of sourcing in Asia-Pac

Due to the global and transversal aspect of this mission, the main interfaces of this mission will be

The total mission of New Raw Materials prospection in Asia-Pac will be under the responsability of Commercial Direction in China. As the part of this mission is global for Company, main targets of this mission will be shared between Global purchasing direction and Chinese purchasing direction.


2- Skills

The associate in charge of New Raw Materials prospecting needs to have a very good knowledge of animal nutritional needs for RC and a good transversal experience from the raw materials technical definition to the final usage within a pet food plant.
This job will require a good ability to work with the local Chinese Team but also in link with the Central team in France. The quality of the exchanges with Chinese colleagues, Central Purchasing Team and Central R&D will be a key point.
