职位描述
Line manager: China GM
Subordinates: 5
Job purpose:
In collaboration with central commercial, R&D, Q&FS, factories, global Commercial, and local teams (marketing, sales, supply chain, …), China commercial director is expected to grow local team for their development, to manage the activities of the local commercial team to fulfill the local market needs, to ensure the on time supply of raw materials and packaging with requested quality, to ensure the development of sourcing capacity in Asia Pacific region to sustain the business growth for long term, to cascade all global policies, to implement standards, and to ensure relevant financial results.
Responsibilities:
1.Team leadership: share regularly company’s business results, activities, announcements, projects, etc.; motivate team; help associates to grow and develop by providing necessary trainings, coaching, and opportunities to learn and practice.
2.Global policy: cascade the global policy to local team, being ambassador of company culture and principles. Combine global need with local situation to create adapted sourcing strategy, tactics, priorities, and organization.
3.Standards and regulations: ensure the implementation of global standards with regular follow-up. Ensure the activities of commercial team are completely in line with global and local regulations.
4.Raw materials/packaging sourcing and quality management: guarantee that the material purchasing, supplier selections, as well as quality management are in line with company policy. Provide strategic directions, tools, trainings and all necessary supports for daily job and problem solving.
5.New raw material development: Being sensitive and supportive to link business needs with new material availability in the region. Coordinate with central team and new material developer to find the future direction and focus.
6.Service: become solid support of local policies and needs for travel, marketing tools, and merchandising.
7.Interface: ensure smooth and regular communication with central commercial team and within global commercial community, animate and facilitate communication between local team and all relevant interfaces: global commercial teams, factory, central R&D, Q&FS, supply chain, marketing, etc.
8.Financial performance: prepare and control budget, improve cost and cash situation, ensure reporting
Qualifications:
1.Rich knowledge and experience on food science and technologies
2.Strong sense of quality and food safety.
3.Basic financial knowledge.
4.Skilled in communication and coordination.
5.Team management experience.
6.Fluent oral and written English skill.
7.French is a plus.
