The employer is an US Fortune 500 chemical company.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:
-Bachelor in chemistry, Material Science or Chemical engineering major
-Master's degree is preferred
-Two years' working experience is required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
-Internship experience within multinational company is a plus
-Customer faced type of working experience also is a plus
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
-Computer literacy
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to attend to details
-Able to complete basic laboratory procedures with intermediate to minimal supervision
-Able to demonstrate basic knowledge of safe laboratory practices and procedures
-Able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of laboratory terminology and basic equipment use
-English language capability
-Willing to work overtime if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work safely and responsibly at all times, always abide by the company's HES regulations and all the chemical lab safety rules required.
Carry out the laboratory testing of incoming raw materials & finished goods against quality control specifications to ensure quality.
-Laboratory testing of technical service work and other testing tasks needed.
-Work in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures and Laboratory Quality Assurance System,
-Accurately reporting of laboratory test results, record and maintain proper test records.
-Maintain lab equipment work properly. Maintain high levels of laboratory cleanliness and tidiness
-Other lab tasks assigned by the supervisor.
