Responsibility 工作职责：
Lead design activities, define design requirements (materials, tolerances, surface development, etc.) regarding appearance, performance and thermal and mechanical properties (legal and customer-related)
Generate concept proposals and detailed designs in 3D for single components and complex projects
Create and release 2D and 3D data according to the functional necessity
Communicate with the global network of customers and suppliers
Participate in Design FMEA and lead design reviews
Participate in the design, development and quotation preparation process
Understand and communicate technical items / requirements within the team


Qualifications岗位要求：
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, major in Design or Plastics Technology
- 3-5 years design experience, automotive lighting preferred, some entry level positions available
- Proficient with 2-D and 3-D design methods using Catia V5 or similar advanced CAD system
- Experience in product and automotive design know-how
- Experience in design of plastic components
- Proficient in English and Japanese both in written and spoken

Hella’s Nanjing location is the newest addition to our group of development centers in China. In Nanjing, the Hella electronics and lighting divisions will be combined in one office. As the electronic content of automotive lighting products continues to increase, synergies between the lighting group and the electronic group will be more important in the years to come . Over the next three years the Nanjing facility will grow to over 200 engineers. Additional e x pansion in Nanjing is planned to include a test lab and a nearby production site.
