Corporate Responsibility Manager

Reporting to Supply Chain Manager, the incumbent will be located in Shenzhen.

Job Descriptions:

The job holder is responsible for the following tasks:

1.Cooperate Social Responsibility

·Implement and achieve BSCI commitment set by headquarter

·Provide headquarters Supply Chain Operation Business Unit Manager/ CR Manager with:

a) Seasonal supplier / factory overview

b) Regular report on the progress made in BSCI auditing of our factories

c) Yearly BSCI audit overview

d) Multi-year BSCI audit overview

·Push defined suppliers to get their factories BSCI audited and follow up to ensure this is really done in a timely manner

·Control and monitor all existing Far East suppliers’ and factories’ BSCI status to ensure their audits do not expire

·Supervise CR coordinator in providing BSCI assessment/audit support to suppliers/factories, ensure all suppliers understand all BSCI requests, and sign the Code of Conduct, before starting cooperation with INTERSPORT

2.Norms & Regulations

·Understand and communicate all legal and corporate norms and regulations, relating to import, sale, and use of apparel /footwear/hardware Exclusive Brands products

·Coordinate product control procedures in conjunction with the headquarter Norms & Regulations Department

·Ensure all parties are well informed on the chemical and physical requirements, and that all exclusive brand products sold to headquater are compliant

·Ensure suppliers and all their sub-supplier understand their obligations and responsibilities

·Cross check and test any critical products or accessories before bulk shipments (random checks)

·Support INTERSPORT Asia Pacific Co. Ltd. in setting up product requirement sheets that cover all Norms and Regulations for INTERSPORT China (ICS) and their other markets in the Asia Pacific region

3.Education and Training

·Train and inform the IOF and IAP staff on what legal requirements all IIC EB products must fulfill, and what this means for our suppliers + their entire supply chain

·Organise and lead meetings/training sessions for our suppliers + their entire supply chain to ensure they understand and comply with our requirements

4.Administration and Organization

·Develop clear relevant working process at IOF (BSCI audit, self-assessment, product control, etc.)

·Develop a effective and efficient CR team

·Prepare annual fiscal year budget, monitor and control spending, and report team expenses and fiscal status

Job Requirement:

• More than five years relevant industry experience in CR function
• Knowledge of apparel / footwear / hardware and production, supply chain management
• Certification in SA8000 plus knowledge in Norms and Regulations
• Solid presentation and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Strong understanding of factory working processes

• Strong data analysis and process mapping skills
• Proven leadership
• Facility in development of proposals, deliverables and reports.
