Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Develop and implement branch strategies by analyzing industry/market trends, marketplace events and indentifying economic/regulatory/competitive issues in the local market
2) Implement China distribution strategies for both agency and direct sales
3) Work closely with profit centers to develop and implement product strategies, business targets and action plans
4) Set and lead both agency and direct sales team(s) to achieve overall production budgets and targets of all lines of business
5) Set and lead team to achieve overall activity goal and targets of all lines of business
6) Manage premium receivables and commission payments
7) Develop and maintain channel relationship that provides strong and proactive support to key business partners
8) Work with supporting departments to streamline operational processes to ensure that high standard of customers satisfaction and cost efficiency
9) Conduct regular performance management with direct reports to ensure agreed standards of performance are achieved
10)Assess strengths and development needs of staff, give specific feedback, helpful coaching, provide assignments and opportunities for career development and develop succession plans
11)Work with distribution training team to enhance and develop skills and knowledge of distribution staff
12)Make good use of budgets and expenses to ensure optimal cost efficiency
13)Monitor and maintain compliance with all legal, statutory or other internal and external regulatory requirements

Candidate Specification:

1)Bachelor degree or above
2)10 years or above working experience in insurance industry
3)5 years or above working experience in channel management either in P&C or Life side
4)Preferable experience working with foreign invested companies
5)Good presentation skills both in English and Chinese
6)Attention to details including numbers
7)Interpersonal skills
8)Proactive, and self driven
9)Nanjing based and willing to travel.
