ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Our client is an International company specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain.

Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China

Reporting to:
Supervisor

Travelling:
Rarely within China

Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:
+ Responsible to define the technical road map of SSC support/project teams
+ Responsible to design the architecture of IT systems
+ Planning, analyzing, designing and realization of IT projects and services
+ Coaching and mentoring of co-developers, assure knowledge transfer
+ Active support of requirements engineering, test and quality assurance process
+ Devise and enforce architecture (in strong collaboration with the Service Manager)
+ Regular review of code and implementation quality to ensure that development best practices are adhered
+ Develop and supervise metrics to reveal skill gaps, increase code quality and test coverage, organize refactorings
+ Manage interfaces between requirements and development of solution

Requirements:
+ Minimum IT Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years IT system development experience and at least 2 years in system design
+ At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing complex JEE (5 or higher) applications, at least partly in the role of a technical lead
+ Thorough experience in the software development lifecycle to coach, guide, and support other team members
+ Expert in given techniques including Java, .Net, Oracle, etc.
+ Knowledge in architecture design is essential
+ Strong skills in database design and O/R mapping, in particular Hibernate/JPA
+ Understand principles of Service Orientation, Design and implementation of Web services
+ Knowledge of various test methods (Unit, Integration, Performance, Functional)
+ Ability to apply formal methods, tools and techniques
+ Experiences with Message oriented Middleware would be beneficial
+ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
+ Good interpersonal skills and training skills
+ Speak native Chinese Mandarin
+ Must be able to communicate in written and oral English
+ Willing to travel sometimes within China
