REPORTING TO/汇报对象
Vice President – Operations (foreigner)
WHY DOES THE JOB EXIST?
To improve performance of WGC operations based on the principles of operations excellence, performance management, people/organization management and regulatory compliance. To establish this new function and lead continuous improvement teams on activities including developing site strategy, training, mentoring, conducting key projects, developing management tools and KPI etc.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operation Excellence and Performance Management
? Design and implement standards in manufacturing.
? Lead and monitor all operation improvement activities.
? Initiate & monitor saving activities to reduce manufacturing costs.
? Improve existing and design new operationexcellence concepts and tools and apply them to operation.
? Strengthen and develop Lean-6Sigma in operation.
? Integrate the existing Productivity Management and develop new metrics.
? Define and redefine operational KPI’s, ensure proper monitoring to ensure the right focus in operation and sustainability.
? Drive and implementstrategic operation projects and initiatives.
? Lead and align all Operation Excellence activities of the different manufacturing sites and divisions in Greater China.
? Support tolling activities with expertise in special cases.
2. People & Organization Management
? Establish a Production Excellence Community in operation and develop local production excellence competences.
? Establish a culture driving for results, efficiency and high commitment as well passion and professionalism.
? Develop local processes & products expertise to localize further processes and products.
? Further develop and ensure efficient and sustainable knowledge transfer across manufacturing sites and functions.
? Further develop leadership skills in operation at all levels.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/
1. Education:
? Bachelor or Master in Chemical
? Good English capabilities verbally and in writing
? Excellent Chinese capabilities verbally and in writing
2. Experience:
? Experience in production Excellence activities (chemical production)
