POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
Inside sales is one of sale team members in LB Area sales team. Insides sales manages about 200 small and medium sized accounts. In the mean time, field sales also has the responsibility to support customer visit and other needs out from. Area Sales Manager ensures the full cooperation between the inside sales and fields sales to achieve profitable business growth in each area.
Key elements of the role include implementation of account management of all existing customers in the area including customer satisfaction improvement, customer retention, contract renewal, profit improvement through PIP/ME, productivity improvement, leads/referrals from our existing accounts for MG and other MFOs

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage 200 small accounts.
2. Support leads generation-8 leads to signing/year
3. Customer satisfaction and retention. Regular phone call follow up with all accounts (twice/month) and get customers’ feedback. If needed, pay site visits with the support from field sales.
4. Contract management. Manage the database on all contracts, proactively manages the data on contract renewal date, ever green notice timeline, product surcharge, price escalation formula …to support Area manage to improve customer retention rate
5. Work with cross functional teams like customer engineering and GAD team to help customer resolve issues and provide value added service to customers to improve customer loyalty and enhance AP’s brand recognition in the market
6. Execute PIP and ME to pass through the cost inflation so as to improve margin
7. Through good communication, convince customer to support AP’s productivity efforts like opening 24 hours delivery window
8. With daily account management to build good customer relationship and get new signing from customer expansion projects
9. Get leads and referrals from existing accounts to help grow business for both LB and other product lines and MFOs
10. Support administration work of strategic accounts in the area
11. Monitor and manage DSO and improve collection of accounts managed
12. Provide weekly report to area sales manager on volume/price, productivity achievement of existing accounts and segment highlights feedbacked by customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education
- College Degree or University education (Business or Technical discipline preferred)
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in sales or customer service function in multinational companies
- Experience in industrial gases or chemicals would be a strong plus.
3. Skills
- Sales, commercial and negotiation skills
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills including written and spoken English and Chinese
4. Qualities
- Strong commitment on the job and desire to win
- Good team player and can work both independently and as a team member always with constructive opinion
- Result focused – demonstrate ability to reach goals, accountability for results.
