Objectives:
The National Sales Trainer (NST) maximizes sales personnel effectiveness by determining and providing appropriate training needs. The objective of the position is to lift both the company average and the lowest level regarding sales skills, in order to support company’s strategy execution and growth targets. With the influence of the NST, sales personnel will obtain and optimize sales management skills, hone business and selling skills, increase communication and interpersonal skills and develop a strong understanding of the company’s strategy and its execution.
Key Performance areas:
- Creation and constant optimization of training and documentation materials, including tests and case studies
- Translation of existing materials and adaption to specific needs and environment of the Chinese market
- Conduct trainings with focus on sales management and selling technique. E.g. sales planning, territory management and negotiation techniques etc.
- Plan, organize and execute a yearly sales training program, including trainings of third parties of various areas in different locations in China
- Plan and execute follow up programs to secure the execution of trained sales skills, including documentation with various suitable tools and methods on group and individual basis
- Coaching and developing sales personnel with various suitable training tools/methodologies
- Draft evaluations of sales personnel and draft of development plans and optimization of those
- Support and advise the sales managers regarding suitable sales skills development and follow up actions for their sales personnel
- Accomplishes sales training and organization objective by achieving set targets and related results as needed.
Your profile:
- Successful, documented selling skills in B2B industry
- Five to seven years sales leadership, training and coaching
- Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent presentation skills, along with verbal and written communications skills in Chinese and English
- Strong skills in training and performance management, including providing feedback to management and sales personnel
- Strong coaching and motivation skills for sales management and sales personnel
- Strong customer interaction/conflict resolution skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Structured and logical way of working with ability for long term thinking strategically
- Strong pedagogic skills, and knowledge about adult learning theory
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of web meeting and e-learning tools/methodologies
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment
