JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Marketing Analytics Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership, fostering teamwork, ensuring best in class marketing effectiveness analytics for an iconic, leading international beauty brand in China. The aim is to build a comprehensive econometrically driven ROI measurement and tracking program, enabling the creation of group wide knowledge and optimization, ultimately improving returns on marketing spends. The role is of the highest profile and will require both strategic and tactical onus.

4) You’ll be a key and critical member of a broader WPP team that services this account – and will have insight and input into the holistic communications strategy and creative development process, insight and research and every aspect of campaign planning.

DAY TO DAY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Be the leader for the marketing effectiveness organization. From managing and inspiring the marketing effectiveness team, advising and consulting with the internal planning and strategic teams to leading the client on ways to improve their marketing effectiveness
? Confidently present and participate in client meetings in English & Mandarin, both having and articulating a clear POV.
? Prioritize tasks and appropriately delegate to individual members of the team, ensuring they are given adequate time, resource and are sufficiently trained to execute tasks required to fulfill our analytics requirements with high quality and consistency.
? Manage the team day-to-day acting as a mentor to junior employees, conduct annual and interim appraisals of team members in a thorough and professional manner on or immediately prior to the due date.
? Continuously work with the clients to arrive at the best process/systems for managing their business
? To be part of new business pitches and provide insightful and comprehensive communication solutions

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Skills & Requirements:

? Experience in utilizing statistics, econometrics, research techniques, and experimental procedures to extract marketing and consumer insights
? At least 8 years experience of relevant consulting, research or media industry experience at all levels of agency-client relationship.
? Must have had exposure to and experience in the entire research, planning and implementation process.
? You have good communication skills both in English & Mandarin, strong selling skills and strong on numeracy.
