Key Responsibilities:

? responsible for the overall operations required in safety, quality, production, maintenance and supply chain
? plans, organizes, leads and controls the business site to achieve established strategic and tactical goals
? develops input on the strategic plan for the business; assisting in preparing an annual business plan with primary focus on financial performance, specific objectives, contingency plans and resource requirements
? develops annual plan for Capex, cost saving projects and Operation Excellence Certification
? monitors operational costs including manufacturing variable cost, period cost and shop floor overtime labor cost
? develops appropriate plans and procedures in support of business safety, strategies and policies and ensures safety awareness levels, evaluates incident trends, and actively promotes safety practices throughout the organization
? monitors the production processes to ensure that the Quality Assurance functions, Job Instructions, and shop practices are maintained at their highest level of capability to minimize product liability risks
? assesses Customer complaints, CoPQ, NCR to identify process capability and root cause to take corrective / preventive actions to meet customer needs on quality and on time delivery
? support Finance Dept on liaison with local authorities relating to tax, foreign currency; safety and business registration etc.
? establishes active communication channel between PST Changzhou and Praxair China/PST sister companies

Key Requirements:

? bachelor's degree or related experience on mechanical or materials engineering. MBA degree is a plus
? over seven years plant management experience
? over three years experiences in managing manufacture of aircraft engine and/or airframe components
? over five years senior management experience
? excellent people skills
? excellent communication skills
? excellent project management skills
