Key responsibilities and accountabilities for this high profile and challenging role:

· Manageall aspects of the delivery of all field-based activities, covering service & installation of industrial lifts and construction hoists, throughout China and overseas markets

· Day to day management support of the parts management function in support of and in line with the directives laid down by the Global Parts Manager

· Provide a Technical Support service to our field team and our customers.

· Through best practice people management, manage, recruit, develop and motivate the team of field engineers together with office-based support staff.

· Ensure all field-based activities are delivered to industry-leading safety & quality standards whilst achieving the correct technical standard.

· Provide operational support to sales & project teams across the business.

· Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of health & safety, quality, operational delivery and cost for all field-based activities.

· Deliver on profitability targets for all field-based revenue streams.

· Reporton, and forecast performance for, all field-based revenue streams.

Required skills & experience

· Successful management and development of a customer-focussed service & installation field operation in a technically challenging environment.

· Technically qualified, ideally as a mechanical engineer at HND or degreelevel.

· Recognised H&S qualification, (local certificate level).

· Demonstrable success as a passionate man-manager, developing a positive team culture.

· Can demonstrate technical learning and development in a complex environment.

· Pragmatic, driven and dynamic with a strong desire to succeed.

· Commercially & financially astute.

· Effective communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.

· Process-oriented with focus on driving change through continuous improvement.

· Strategic thinker who is analytical by nature, with robust and fact-based decision-making.

· IT literate with both MS Office and business system experience.

This role will be based out of the main office inChangshu, China, with some travel throughout

main land China.

The product range comprises of Alimak developed construction hoists and after sales services for vertical access solutions in China and South East Asian markets
