Scope of Role:

This role manages acquisition, targeting, credit policy creation and policy implementation for Credit Card and manages the upcoming risks, which include but are not limited to, develop and optimize acquisition policy and credit imitation process to balance the risk and return to help the business grow healthy.

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

·Evaluate the degree of risk and reward for unsecured lending products and control risk through acquisition policies

·Develop country credit policy that is adhering to SCB's group credit policy standards while customized for country credit environment and practices.

·Introduce and validate acquisition/early account management decision matrix or credit scorecards via works with internal resources (both at the group and local level) and outside vendors (e.g. Credit bureau.)

· Analyzes Thru the Door mix of applications in conjunction with the financial performance of the products to report and optimize the credit policy that balances risk and rewards, and within the risk tolerance level set by group and country risk heads.

· Work with underwriting team, fraud team and collection team to design and implement effective credit management process that is controls credit risk effectively, with high efficiency and scalable.

· Design and report KPIs across all credit cycle in order to measure effectiveness of processes and policies of the products.

· Build and maintain the credit infrastructures and systems, timely and accurately implement credit policies and processes into the system.

Selection Criteria:

Qualifications & Skills

· 5years+ Banking experience and 3 years+ Risk Management experience

· Bachelor &/or Master Degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Finance, Accounting or Banking. Professional qualification is a strong plus

·Thorough understanding of Bank operations, credit policies, familiar with local legal and compliance policy

· Analytical skills in both numerical and non numerical subject matter. SAS skill is required.

· Hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, goal oriented, independent minded,

· Must possess strong team spirit as a member of the Credit Team

· Has a good command of written/oral English and Mandarin

· Good PC skills in particular MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Outlook, VBA skill is a strong plus.
