What is DAT

DAT is abbreviation of driver assistant technology, including auto high beam control, auto parking system, adaptive cruise control, Lane keeping aid, etc.

Input DAT DV test plan for forward model programs. Input lesson learns and China environment test result to program. Input China input on customer preference for forward model programs.

Lead DAT DV and PV test in China on local build cars. Review the status of each program, in coordination with our joint venture partners (CFA) and the lead engineering activity (LEA), and resolve issues as required.

Initiate request on China local launch programs tuning to meet local customer expectation.

DAT benchmarking on China competitors, and execute customer survey. Understand major competitors DAT attributes compare with Ford products. Tightly connect with LVEA on the benchmarking result and input on local programs.

Support issues fixing for the on sale production as consistent improvement.

Purchase equipment and build up test capability.

Candidate Specification

Bachelor degree or above

Experienced candidates are preferred

Good test capability, Electric knowledge, and overall vehicle sub-system and components structure knowledge.

Test engineer or EESE engineer

Vehicle subjective evaluation skill and test skill.

EESE basic knowledge.

Driver's License and actual on-road driving experience.

Basic issues fixing skill and clearly logic thought.

Good English oral and written communication skills.

Strong learning capability.

Demonstrated ability to develop a good working relationship with representatives from different companies, multiple programs and functions.

Demonstrated capability and willingness to teach/coach/mentor.

Strong experience in working in different cultures, systems, and processes.

Ability to travel as required.
