Responsibilities include:
? Supervise and mentor a software test group by providing technical and logistical leadership to the team members.
? Work directly with USA based management on detailed project scheduling, task assignments, creating and maintaining test environments, and assisting the team to accomplish our goals.
? Work with USA and Nanjing based management on guiding the team to excel and broaden their skills and scope.
? Develop, document, and execute verification test strategy and test plans individually and as part of a team.
? Work closely with the engineering team on feature and system level integration testing, problem discovery and problem resolution.
? Work with local and remote test engineers to create, share and support test automation.
? Write clear, concise and understandable problem descriptions and test reports.

Required qualifications include:
? Computer Science, Computer Engineering, HW engineering, or SW Test engineering degree
? 10+ years experience in a telecommunication development or SW test environment.
? 3+ years experience supervising a SW test or development team.
? Team player and self starter
? Strong desire and skill to test SW in a development environment.
? Aptitude for working with engineers and working with engineering documentation.
? Experience with data communications or telecommunications equipment testing in one or more of the following areas required: IP, Video, ATM, FE/GE Ethernet, TDM, etc.
? Experience mentoring test engineers.
? Test automation and scripting expertise.
? Strong verbal and written English skills.


Preferred qualifications include:
? Strong knowledge of networking, telephony or video services
? Strong data communications knowledge
? Experience with network management systems (EMS/NMS/SNMP) preferred
