Description
Purpose of role
The main responsibility is to ensure that all solution deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer satisfaction and securing profitability for Ericsson.
Analyze technical needs, characteristics and performance of the existing or proposed systems or technical solutions with the objective to improve systems and its performance.
Key responsibilities
·The main responsibility is to ensure that all deliveries to customers, which also include documents, solution proposals, offers etc, are made in a professional way from a solution point of view, all in order to get satisfied customers and secure profitability for Ericsson.
·The responsibilities are described as:
·Supporting the market and sales organization as an expert in the solution portfolio.
·Together with the CPM identify scope and cost estimation
·Take a technical lead in the execution phase of customer projects;
·Define, manage and verify solutions in customer projects, including handling and management of third party products and suppliers.
·Identify new and add-on business opportunities
·Support presales activities, including pre-studies
·Give technical support to Sales, Marketing, Project managers and the customer
·Do presentations and participate in technical discussions with customers
·Lead and perform advisory studies and pre-studies
·Acquisition of data and information related to system performance
·Coordination of field teams working with data acquisition, troubleshooting or implementing recommendations
·Understanding of impact and coordination of improvement activities with network design team
·Network performance investigation and assessment
·Issuing, discussing and/or implementation of recommendations for network improvement
·Understanding of impact of performance changes in the network and customer's bottom line
Qualifications
·Network & Technology Awareness
·Experienced technically oriented SME in:
·End-to-end Performance and Characteristics
·Network Audit & Benchmarking (NetQB)
·Network & Technology Consulting Application Requirements analysis
·Network Performance based on Field Measurements
·Network Performance based on System Measurement Function
·Network Traffic/Capacity
·Familiar with Network Management standards (ITU TE 800 Terms and Definitions)
·Problem solving skills
·Available for WCDMA Radio Access Network Optimization service. Structured in three parts:
·Audit - establishes the status of network performance and provides recommendations for improvement
·Network Performance Improvement - delivers improved network performance by implementing new parameter settings, identifies new parameter strategies and long-term recommendations
·Successful Feature Introduction - introduces new features (such as enhanced uplink and downlink in HSPA) in a customer's loaded network, providing optimized feature performance that is customized to the network.
·Each phase is tailored to the specific customer's needs and their unique network situation. They can choose to work with Ericsson throughout the entire process, or a part of it.
·Familiar with using the tools as much as possible:
·Commercial equipment - Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer of Agilent measuring instrument, Base Station Test equipment, MapInfo, AIRCOM Planning Tool, ATOLL Planning tool, ACTIX UMTS RVS, Auto CAD, NetIQ, XCAL/XCAP
·Ericsson Tool - TEMS Investigation Data Collection and Route Analysis, NeXplorer, MCOM, MapInfo, MOShell, Business Objects (ENIQ), OSS-RC, TIPP Macro, EMAS, CCR tool, CDR tool, GMO, ITK
·Be a team leader to build up local engineer competence, communicate with customer and complete task assignment.
