Responsibilities:
Support and Development
Applies complex procedures and defined standards to meet current business, customer and technical requirements and leads others in resolution of complex problems.
Innovates and optimizes processes and methods within the domain to meet system or user requirements and develop new functionality
As part of dedicated project and part of a project team lead by a project manager, plans and implements processes where required, and provides technical leadership to specialist staff.
Leads specialist resources on technical issues within the domain on content and provides detailed analysis of the operations and opportunities for improvement.
Standards
Applies and implements service and process standards and participates in implementation planning.
Observes governance processes, escalates areas for improvement and assists in the implementation and monitoring of solutions
Implements appropriate framework and processes (e.g. ITSM, Summit-D or another professional framework), uses tools and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) end-to-end
Maintains appropriate documentation of tasks, incidents, and activities performed
Know-how
Applies know-how to defined processes within an application or technical domain and works to ensure connection with other technical domains
Develops business/technical critical know-how within area of expertise for the function and is familiar with opinion leaders in the field. Assists in the development of others know-how by passing on knowledge of tools and techniques.
Supports day to day operations and / or implementation of projects within area of technical expertise, contributions to the implementation planning and may lead some parts.
System Operations
Manages and supports applications and systems and ensures integrity and validated state during their lifetime
Takes on coordination activities related to smaller changes for systems within area of responsibility
Provides content knowledge to the incident, problem and change management processes
Performs system administration and 2nd/3rd level support for IT Components not managed by the Infrastructure Services & Operations organization or the Application Development and Maintenance Delivery Shared Services Centre
Coordinates and supports security patching and upgrades with business and all Informatics functions
Ensures compliance with security SOPs/policies, and adequate access rights are given to trained staff.
Works with PGI to implement infrastructure solutions for operational optimization
Installs new systems and new releases into maintenance and productive environment, following SDLC and change management procedures
Ensures appropriate quality system documentation including technical system documentation, installation scripts, OQ/PQ’s, test plans and scripts
Follows incident and change control procedures and enhancement governance procedures Delivers on call services where needed
Project Participation
Provides Subject Matter Expertise input into detailed solution design
Supports collection of user and functional requirements, and translates them into design specifications
Supports the test design; conducts and supports functional (exploratory and system) testing; supports user acceptance testing
Coordinates installations and upgrades with business and PGI ( in conjunction with IPM)
Supports roll-out activities and Data Migration
Delivers quality solutions within committed timeframes
Requirements:
3-7 years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration in either operations or projects.
At least 1 full cycle SAP implementation experience covering requirement gathering to post go-live support with major responsibility in the area of the FICO module.
Skills:
Strong SAP Finance and Controlling skills specializing in Controlling (CO-PA, Product Costing, PCA, CCA)
Customer focus and ability to work in global teams
Excellent communication, client facing skills and team spirit
Experience with ITIL and Project Methodology.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
Qualifications :
SAP FICO certification is advantageous
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
Flexibility to travel for up to 25% of time including outside of home country
Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours or on call arrangements to provide support 24/7
