Job title
Purchasing officer, reports to Manager of Sourcing & Purchasing department.

Objective of the job
Order material, follow up order status and make sure materials are ready for production according to request from material planning.
Ensure the forecast and plan to suppliers and secure material capability in supply chain with low operational cost.
Measure and continuously improve suppliers’ performance to ensure the
fulfilment of CLC demand.
Handle material claim issues

Responsibilities
Good communication with supplier regarding MRP, MD and order status.
Maintain purchase order information in Iscala system in accurate state
Measure supplier performance and take actions to continuously improve supplier’s performance
Maintain material claim process

Authority
To collect and have access to all information necessary for carrying out assigned responsibilities and tasks

Main task
Creating purchase orders and follow up order status
Communicating with suppliers regarding MRP/MD/Order, make sure ordered materials are ready for production according to requirement from Material Planning
Measure key suppliers’ performance in a monthly basis and take improvement activities when necessary
Be actively involved in supplier quality issue and provide instant support to SQE
Initiate activities and co-ordinate all internal/external resources to solve material constraints.
Handle material claim issues.

Qualifications

· University degree or equivalent from technical or business area
· Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing or supplier management area.
· Fluent in English both in written and verbal.
· Good communication and negotiation skills.
· Good at team work.
