Tasks:
Purchasing representative within project (development) team who is responsible for achievement of cost and quality targets and who safeguards the achievement of project milestones for all purchased components
1) Responsible of :
-Project management within purchasing
-Active collaboration with interface functions from concept phase to product launch / SOP (PDP)
-Participation and purchasing lead within simultaneous-engineering-processes, coordination of SE-work with suppliers
-Active use of global purchasing (e.g. Commodity management, SQE, …)
-Execution of technical supplier meetings (SE meetings)
-Target-costing-activities, e.g. idea and concept competition
-Cost down, VA/VE:
Identification of cost saving potentials and alternative technical solutions; Project management within purchasing
-Cost estimations with support of MPTC and global commodity management
-Generate project status reports for internal review meetings
-Change management purchased parts before SOP
-Safe launch tracking for new projects (purchased parts)
2) Mentorship for new employees
3) Active cooperation within construction kit strategy and development roadmaps
Profile
1) Degree in Industrial engineering or technical degree with qualification in business administration
2) International work experience
3) Good communication and coordination skills
4) Good team work approach
5) 3+ years work experience in technical purchasing in automotive industry
6) Fluent communication in English (spoken and written), further languages skills are beneficial; German is a plus
7) Previous knowledge and work experience are relevant for job evaluation
8) Good MS Office software and SAP knowledge
