Job Description

The Chief Editor will be responsible for scientific technical writing, editing and quality control for any published documents and web content. This includes the proof reading of scientific and technical marketing communications as well as providing engaging content for the website. This position will be a part of the marketing team and have an important role in supporting KareBay Biochem’s outreach to its clients and business partners.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Write, review and edit scientific technical materials
• Catalog entries for the website database
• Manage the scientific content of the company’s website
• Help ensure scientific and technical accuracy for published works
• Other related duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

• Education: Requires a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related life sciences field.
• Experience and Skill Requirements

-Native English speaker

-Mandarin a plus

-2+years of relevant industry experience preferred

-Proficient in technical writing

-Exceptional copyediting and proofreading skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-High attention to detail

Working Conditions

Working in an office environment in Nanjing, China. Some travel may be required.
