The Motor Dyno Test Engineer will work on motor dyno testing and calibration position to support the new energy vehicle and its key component development in Ford motor company, support vehicle launch and quality improvement;

Lead development of e-Drive motor test methods, specifications and procedures;

Lead motor dyno test lab setup and regular maintenance;

Perform motor test and calibration properly and safely with good record;

Lead motor test failure mode analysis and perform quality improvement activities with cross function team;

Assist in development of plans, strategies, requirements and process for motor test and calibration;

Assist in permanent magnet motor design and manufacturing process optimization;

Support integration development of motor from component level up to vehicle level on time with quality;

Support motor material selections and supplier evaluations;

Experience and Background Skills Desired:

Bachelor or higher degree in motor engineering, automation, power electronics, mechanical engineering, or powertrain engineering is preferred;

Good knowledge of motor working principle and structures;

Good knowledge of motor control, or powertrain calibration;

Good knowledge of testing, modeling and simulation technology, such as Matlab, Labview, Simulink or dSpace, CAN diagnostic tools, Ansoft, CAD, etc;

Excellent project management skill, is preferred

Good knowledge of hybrid and or electric vehicle;Good communication skills both in Mandarin and English;

Range of 1-10 years of hands-on experience in electric machine design, development, testing or manufacturing process, is preferred;

Excellent teamwork;

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and willing to travel oversea or domestic;
