INTERSPORT Sporting Goods (SHENZHEN) Co. Ltd. is the wholly-owned of IIC-INTERSPORT International, located in Shen Zhen, mainly in charge of merchandising, inspection and documentation.

To cope with our business requirements, we are seeking a professional of high caliber to fill the following position:

Garment Merchandiser

Reporting to Merchandising Manager , the incumbent will be located in Shenzhen.



Job Descriptions:

§ Supports customer in all aspects of product development, e.g. fabric sourcing, supplier sourcing, lab-dip approval, fabric & accessory development, etc.
§ Follow up from first proto sample to bulk production delivery as liaison between IIC and/or customer and Garment, Fabric, and/or Accessories Suppliers
§ Clarify open points and assist in finding solutions for styling or workmanship problems in a timely manner
§ Distribute designs, basic blocks and guidelines at the beginning of development to suppliers for proto sample making
§ Collect and provide fabric and accessories sourcing information to IIC and/or customer
§ Liaise/coordinate with the Sourcing Department as needed
§ Follow up prints and embroideries development
§ Check IIC and/or customer meeting samples and follow up sample delivery



Requirements:

College or above degree, major in garment or textile is preferable
3 years or above merchandising working experience in garment field, functional or outdoor garment experience is plus
Good command of oral and written English
Good garment knowledge, including the knowledge of functional fabrics, accessories and testing
Customer-oriented and service-minded
Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and team player , demanding
Willing to learn, interested in garment knowledge and new products
Familiar with European market is plus
