职位描述
Job Descriptions:
1.Sourcing
-Identify, visit and interview potential new garment suppliers in order to secure more cost-effective sources of products and services
-Lead fabric sourcing team to centralize fabric development, sourcing, price negotiation and databank/system building as support to product development
-Build up the accessory sourcing system for future comprehensive sourcing management
-Analyse trends and market conditions for the present and the future regarding pricing, availability, lead time and ability to produce goods and provide services
-Evaluate the potential suppliers’ Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) system with support of CR team
-Develop and maintain an effective suppliers’ database
2.Supplier Management
-Provide supplier capacity planning to Product Managers and Merchandise team (IIC + 3rd customer).
-Seasonally review existing suppliers and support action plan for necessary changes
-Support the CR team to monitor the existing suppliers’ and factories’ BSCI procedures, to ensure the compliance with the corporate standard
3.Administration and Organization
-Develop an effective and efficient sourcing team
-Ensure proper cross-communication and coordination between the Sourcing Department and the merchandising, QA, QC team on all relevant issues (i.e. capacity planning, fabric and accessories sourcing, etc.)
-Prepare annual fiscal year budget, monitor and control spending, and report team expenses and fiscal status
Requirements:
-In-depth knowledge of soft goods (garment and footwear, fabric, accessory) and production, supply chain management, technical know-how of out-door garments would be a plus
-Solid presentation and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
-Good facility in development of proposals, deliverables and reports.
-Strong business sense
-Proven leadership skills
-Strong data analysis and process mapping skills
-Bachelor degree, major in Textile or Garment is preferred
-More than eight years relevant industry experience
