Job description
·Responsible for the Sales and Marketing Plan for one of the Business Units/Joint Ventures.
·Coordinate activities with global network to gain new business awards.
·Provides the data for analysis of competitors’ price and product strategy in the market.
·Coordinates business opportunity selection and quotation process between JV and Dura Global locations.
·Makes recommendations as to new product/market opportunities and associated price strategy.
·Manages product costing with development teams and presents pricing proposal document to senior management
·Updates and manages monthly sales forecast and long range plans for assigned accounts
·Participates on cross functional teams to represent the voice of the customer within the business and to ensure that sales objectives are fulfilled.
·Develops yearly account strategies, updates and regularly communicates the situation reflecting the current status. Assists in developing annual business plans as it pertains to the assigned market segment.
·Prepares senior management for critical negotiations and achieves resolution to open issues.
·Understands the higher level corporate long range plans and strategy and ensure that the plans are being followed.
·Domestic and International travel required
·Manages program costing from quote stage to production implementation.
·Identify and communicate impediments to the successful completion of program milestones
·Interface with required functional disciplines and departments for program support
Requirements
1. Minimum of 5 years experience in automotive sales/engineering environment.
2. Must have experience managing people
3. Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering is required.
4. Work history should demonstrate problem solving, business decision making capability.
5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
6. Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally in Chinese and English. German language would also be a plus.
