Objective:
Working closely with Department head of Marketing and Communications, the Translation Manager will act as the local day to day manager to improve the overall quality of Chinese and English text in all Marketing and Press literature and Asian brochures both in printed and online form. The Translation Manager/Senior Translator also supports proof-reading and copy-editing task when necessary.

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertake translation projects from English to Chinese and vice-versa a variety of documents originating from regional office or various departments in China, ensuring they are translated using consistent termonilogies and appropreiate tone.
• Update and copy edit content of website, newsletter, brochure and proposal.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by Department head.
  

Requirements & Qualifications:

• University graduate in Language, Translation or journalism.
• Minimum 5 years solid experience in translation.
• Experience gained from real estate industry will be added advantage.
• Excellent commend of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Meticulous editing skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong self-motivation, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in computer software.
