职位描述

The primary objective for this position is to support the company's Asia Pac business and growth objectives by providing strategic, business focused HR programs, support, and initiatives.

A strategic leader, this HR position is the primary partner to the Asia Pac sales and services executives and supports the Sales, Services, and Support business which generates $1.4 billion in annual sales and $80 million in annual revenue. The HR Director is responsible for supporting the business leaders in executing the strategy and building organizational capability by developing and implementing appropriate people and organizational strategies. This position will work in a matrixed environment with business operations across Asia Pac.

The HR leader delivers strategic HR business expert solutions working in partnership with the region's leaders to build the organization capability through effective talent management, leadership development, aligning organization structure and strategy, and creating a high performance ‘speed to opportunity' culture.

Essential Duties:

*Owns the processes which ensure world class leadership and key talent for business objectives
*Is the client manager which leverages corporate and country HR partner to solve business problems
*Influences creation of Agilent's high performance, speed-to-opportunity culture.
*Partners with the GM to identify organization capability requirements and action plans to close gaps.
*Provides HR consulting, insights and solutions to the leadership team that addresses business challenges and contributes to successful business strategies.
*Manages workforce planning across the region and ensures workforce actions support the strategy and meet financial commitments. Utilizes flexible workforce models that build competitive advantage.
*Leads and facilitates leadership and talent reviews and succession planning.
*Conducts organizational effectiveness assessment
*Implements programs that create high employee performance, engagement, and retention of talent.
*Provides coaching to senior managers to facilitate their improved personal and business performance. .
*Acts as a change agent for the leadership team as the organization evolves its culture, strategies and business processes.


BS/MS Degree in Business / HR/ OD or equivalent plus 10-15 professional HR experience in progressively more responsible HR positions. Experience in a global environment is required. Experience in a sales organization is highly desirable.

*Demonstrated experience in successfully translating business priorities and developing and implementing people strategies to achieve business objectives.
*Proven leadership skills along with ability to manage projects across multiple countries and cultures.
*Successful track record in driving change within matrixed organizations
*Strong consultative skills
*Working knowledge of general HR practices along with the ability to influence HR strategy and policy using previous knowledge and experience from other business and work environments.
*Strategic and pragmatic thinking with a strong bias to execution and results focus
*Highly collaborative; builds strong, successful working relationships - ability to collaborate effectively with Sr Leaders,and country partners in multiple organizations and countries.
